The arrival of March may be celebrated this weekend with a wide variety of activities.

Dionne Warwick will sing at the Playhouse Friday night.
Maple sugaring will be demonstrated Saturday at a farm on the town line.
Camerata D’Amici will make its Ridgefield debut Saturday.
Signs of spring will be sought on a Saturday hike.
Blue Öyster Cult will perform at the Playhouse Saturday.
Songwriting will be taught at the library starting Saturday.
Artist Bob Crofut will open a show of his works Saturday.
Artists from Baghdad will be featured in a show opening Sunday at the library.
Phil Ochs will be subject of a tribute, featuring a half dozen singers and songwriters, Sunday.
Maurice Sendak will speak at a Sunday screening of Last Dance.
