Book sale this weekend offers 25,000 volumes

More than 25,000 books will be for sale Friday through Monday, May 16 to 19, at a book sale sponsored by the Friends of the Ridgefield Library at the library.
Categories include current adult fiction and non-fiction, hard cover, soft cover and paperback books, art, biography, entertainment, nutrition, history, gardening, travel, mystery, religion, music, sports and more.
Children’s books, CDs, DVDs, Books-on-Tape, and videos will also be available.
Both tents on the lawn and the Dayton Program Room will be used.
Hours are Friday, May 16, from 9 to noon, a $10 early admission fee, and from noon to 5 no charge; Saturday, May 17, from 9 to 5; Sunday, May 18, from 1 to 5 all books are half price; Monday, May 19, from 10 to 5 a bag of books may be purchased for $5. Visa/MasterCard will be accepted for purchases more than $10.
Applications for membership in the Friends will be available. The Friends have most recently sponsored National Poetry Month programs, the Ridgefield Folk programs (live music at the library) and the Readers’ Corner in the adult fiction section of the library.
All proceeds from the book sale benefit the Ridgefield Library.
