ACCIDENT: Route 35 closed briefly for pedestrian accident

May 13, 2008

Tuesday, 9:30 a.m. — Danbury Road near The Early Bird is closed at this hour after a car hit a pedestrian.

The elderly woman was described as conscious and alert, and will be taken to Danbury Hospital in a Danbury ambulance — both Ridgefield ambulances were on other calls.

The road is expected to be reopened soon.
