Laura Bech, 90, Wilton resident, treasurer at Ogden House

Laura F. Bech of Wilton, died Wednesday, April 16, at Westport Health Care Center after an extended illness. She was 90.
Born in Gardner, Mass., on Sept. 15, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Nelson and Frances Frissell and was a graduate of Simmons College in Massachussets.
Before retirement Ms. Bech worked as an accountant in her husband’s advertising and marketing agency, Publication Services, Inc., in Stamford for more than 50 years.
While a resident of Ogden House in Wilton, she was the treasurer of the resident’s council for several years. She was a parishioner of St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Wilton.
She is sirvived by her son, John H. Bech of New Canaan, and his wife, Jeanne; daughter, Susan Bech of Los Angeles, Calif.; daughter-in-law Betty Jean Bech of West Springfield, Mass.; and two grandsons, Jeremy and Nathan Bech.
She was predeceased by her husband John Bech, a son Charles Bech, and a daughter Barbara Bech.
Services were held at the Bouton Funeral Home in Georgetown on Wednesday, April 23. Burial followed at Greenwood Union Cemetery in Rye, N.Y.
