New fitness center in Wilton offers customized training plans
|
Personal Training Professionals of New Canaan has opened a new facility at 5 River Road in Wilton.
The decision to open a second location in a neighboring town comes on the heels of its 10th-year anniversary in New Canaan. PTP is the largest personal training facility in Fairfield County, serving thousands of clients from New Canaan and neighboring towns, the company said in a release.
Jason Baer, president of PTP, said the success of the facility is based on a solid business model with highly qualified, motivated and professional trainers and staff. Several of his staff have been with PTP from the onset.
Each individual program at PTP is customized to the client’s specific goals, the company said. All individuals work one-on-one with their trainer, building a relationship and sense of trust that the trainer is focused on their needs.
“I think our industry has done the public a great disservice by providing fast food versions of personal training,” said Scott Carmody, a trainer with PTP. “I have worked in many facilities but PTP stands alone in their approach and commitment to their clients.”
PTP trainers are all fully certified and knowledgeable in the latest developments in exercise physiology, offering a personalized service to serve the precise needs of their clients, the company said. Most clients will work out in the fully equipped facility, but PTP also provides their clients with scheduling flexibility by going to their homes or offices.
Clients come with a full range of needs, including: weight loss; strength and toning; prevention of osteoporosis; dealing with a serious health issue, recovery from a serious injury; sports specific training; and simply wanting to look and feel better.
PTP Wilton will focus primarily on personal training and nutritional counseling which is also the core of their business in New Canaan. Interested individuals can take advantage of PTP’s pre-grand opening special by scheduling a free consultation session and receive a 10% discount if they book by March 1.
