Mar 25, 2008
Mid-Fairfield Hospice is sponsoring a workshop on Techniques for Coping with Stress. The program is part of hospice’s “In the Midst of Winter” series of seminars, workshops and support groups.
It will be moderated by Nanette Greene at the Wilton Library on Tuesday, March 25, from 4 to 5:30. The seminar is open to the public and there is no fee.
In this workshop, Ms. Greene will discuss ways to reduce stress. A counselor with Mid-Fairfield Hospice, Ms. Greene will address the attitudes and behaviors that can cause stress. She will offer participants techniques to relax and achieve balance.
“Stress is normal,” said Ms. Greene., “but it is also implicated as a factor in many illnesses. How we handle stress makes all the difference.”
